MAJOR MILESTONES

 

**  **  Board (Financial Commissioner) gives approval for setting up Indian Railway Accounts Training Institute at Secunderabad and the same was included, vide item no.372 of the pink book 2003-2004, at a cost of Rs.2.86 cr.

 

** **   In March 2003, Financial Commissioner, Railways sets up a Task Force to monitor various phases of planning and construction of this work under the chairmanship of A.M./F., with other Members being Sri S. Parthasarathy, FA&CAO/S.Rly., Smt.Geetha Thoopal, FA&CAO/S.C. Rly. And Sri. T. Malyadri, FA&CAO/CN/S.C. Rly.

 

** **   Architectural Consultancy contract was awarded in favour of M/s COS Consultancy Services, Madurai.

 

** **   Financial Commissioner has laid foundation stone on 18.3.2004 at 10.00 A.M. in the presence of AGM, FA&CAO/S.Rly., FA&CAO/S.C. Rly., other Accounts Officers and PHODs.

#          Approximate cost for the Administrative Building & Hostel is around Rs.1.50 crs.

 

#          Furniture, equipment, vehicles and staff quarters etc., will cost Rs.1.36 crs.

#          Likely date of completion of the construction is March, 2005.
