Comedians are known for their ability to invent impromptu
replies to embarrassing heckling by audience members. It seems female comedians
have not been lagging behind. The Guardian newspaper of U.K. reports about this
female comedian performing in Dublin, Ireland. She was telling jokes to an
audience. After a joke received subdued clapping, a hostile member of the
audience shouted, “You can’t create jokes, why not go back to creating
babies?” To this, the comedian shot
back, “Looks as though your mother could do both!”
