From Hamburg, Germany, comes
this story of problem solving. A man staying on first floor of an apartment
building became sick and needed to be removed to a hospital. The problem was
how to do this, because he weighed more than 300kgs. and the ambulance crew
just could not put him on a stretcher. Relief came when a crane was called and
it hoisted an industrial container near the window of his bedroom. Then ten
firemen lifted him up on a bed, which was placed inside the container, and the
container was carried to the hospital by the crane.
