Bearish Sentiment

From a place called Vitebsk, Belarus (a former state of Russia) comes an amusing story of the cussedness of a brown bear. A remote police station there is situated near a dense forest. One day when the police officers strolled out of the police station, a large brown bear appeared from the woods and made a menacing movement towards them. Hurriedly, they took shelter in their police car. But the bear advanced and sat on top of the car. The frantic messages from the policemen to their control room only drew sniggers and uncharitable advice. Then finally, the bear climbed down, sauntered into the police station, and finished off all the lunch boxes of the officers. After this it walked away into the forest, leaving the policemen hungry.
