Sub.: Railway Budget Compilation System (RBCS).

The Railways are required to submit their August Review, Revised and Budget Estimates pertaining to Earnings, Expenditure and the Works Programme through the software ‘RBCS’ developed by CRIS. The RBCS has been implemented on the Railways in a phased manner and is still under implementation on the new zones and in case of Earnings Estimates on all the zones. The time has come to take a re-look in order to evaluate the status and efficacy of the RBCS implemented/under implementation on the Railways.

All Zonal Railways/Production Units etc. are accordingly requested to furnish a feed back in respect of working of the system and the improvements that may be needed in the software. The specific problems faced by the users may also be pointed out while doing so. The feed back may be furnished at the earliest to enable a timely action being taken.
