No, the above threat did not come from a police officer. It came from an hotelier in Italy. At the island of Ventotene, a hotel by name Villa Pinuccia is run. In June this year, due to the summer season, it was having full house. Many of the guests had complained about the maintenance of rooms. Then they complained about the room service. All this while, the hotelier, Anello Aiello, was listening and showed no reaction. Then came dinnertime and all the 80 guests who were taking dinner started whining about the dinner. The 68-year-old Aillo came to the dining room, listened for some time, and suddenly lost his cool. “Right, that’s it”, he exclaimed, “I’ve had enough and now nobody’s leaving this room!” And with that he just went out and locked all the doors from outside. The guests remained imprisoned till the police arrived. “All that I said was that we were not happy with the service, and the next thing we find is we are locked up!” moaned a guest.
