The notification for payment of PLB was received on the 29th September and since we have cent percent payment through cheque/bank and 30th Sept. and 2nd Oct. being bank holidays, special efforts were made by EDP Centre and Accounts Dept. to ensure that the PLB was credited to the Bank Accounts of the employees of RWF on the same day i.e. 29th Sept. As a result, more than 50% of the employees could withdraw their PLB from the ATMs by the same evening, a fact which is unprecedented. All payments have been done through cheques without sacrificing any of the prescribed internal checks keeping in view the Board’s directive regarding malpractices in Establishment matters.
