The following IRAS officers have
been honored with various awards for their excellent performance in the courses
attended by them in the year 2002. The awards are being distributed on
31.1.2003 on the occasion of the Railway Staff College Foundation day.
Life Time Achievement
- Shri Akhileshwar Prasad an IRAS officer of 1962
examination batch currently working as Director, NIFM has been selected
for the Alumnus Award 2003. This
award is given every year to a Railway officer for his significant
contribution within and outside Indian Railways.
Serving
Officers - Refresher Courses
- Shri Vijay Kumar, IRAS officer of 1982 batch
currently working as Dy. FA&CAO/T/ Eastern Railway has been awarded Director General’s Gold medal for securing
highest marks and for his outstanding performance in the course
AMP-04/2002.
- Dr. R. C. Rai, IRAS officer of 1983 batch currently
working as Dy. FA&CAO/T/ North Eastern Railway has been awarded Director General’s Gold medal for securing
highest marks and for his outstanding performance in the course
AMP-01/2002.
- Ms. Kalyani. Sethuraman, IRAS officer of 1993 batch
currently working as Sr. EDPM, Southern Railway has been awarded MR’s medal and a cash award of Rs. 5000/- for
the best project of the year 2002 by MDP participants.
Probationary
Officers
- Shri Niraj Kumar, IRAS officer of 1999 batch
currently working as ADFM, Danapur, East Central Railway has been selected
as the Best IRAS Probationer for
the year 2002.
- Mrs. Surya L Chellpilla, IRAS officer of 1999 batch
currently working as ADFM, Secunderabad, South Central Railway has been
awarded with two awards:
- She has been selected as the Best Lady Probationer and will be honored
with the Lakshmi Sarath Memorial Award
for the year 2002. This is the second time in a row that an IRAS
probationer has been selected for this award.
- She has been awarded Director
General Gold medal for securing highest marks and for her
outstanding performance in the course AIP-01/2002.
- Shri Chandan Kumar Verma, IRAS officer of 1999 batch
currently working as ADFM, NER has been awarded the Director General’s Gold medal for securing
highest marks and for his outstanding performance in the course
AFP-03/2002.
- Shri Kumar Animesh, IRAS officers of 1999 batch
currently working as ADFM, Mugalsarai, East Central Railway has been
selected for The Railway Staff College’s Best Sports Probationer Trophy Award
for the year 2002. This award has been instituted from this year itself
and he is the first recipient of this award.
