The Night Off
Currently, the police in
Brazil have started viewing with suspicion complaints from husbands that they
were kidnapped in the evening, and released the next morning. Such complaints
of "flash- kidnappings" from husbands suddenly increased leading the
police to question the complainants rather closely. The truth which came out
was interesting, to say the least. Many husbands actually spent the nights with
their mistresses and then covered their tracks by turning up at police stations
the next morning to complain of kidnap and release. Confronted with the truth,
they have to now face their wives, and also pay a fine for wasting police time.
