A friend is like a God’s Gift,
At bad times who gives you a lift

Whether the time is good or bad,
He will never let you go sad

He doubles your joy and divides your sorrow,
He will stay with you today and tomorrow

Whether you get cough or flu,
His good wishes will be with you

Whether you hit a birdie or par,
He will never go off far

For you he will miss his best chances,
When you’re happy, he too dances

He will stick to you like glue,
In bad times he gives you a clue

Whether you are fair, black or brown,
He will never let you down

When someone comes to give you a blow
He helps you with a stunner or people’s elbow
