What Did You Expect?

The Tottington High School at Bury, Manchester in U.K. had a new school bus driver. On his maiden trip, he picked up the children from their houses, took 2 hours for the normal 10-minute bus trip, and managed to drop the children at the wrong school. The reason was simple. The school children offered to show him the correct directions and, seeing it as a great chance to skip the classes, took him to the wrong place. Having dropped them at the wrong school, he had a doubt, so he phoned the right school, and became wiser. He finally managed to gather them all, and take them to the right school, but the classes were over by then, so he reached the children home. That is, after getting a mouthful from the fuming Headmaster.
