When The Skies Open Up!

Rio de Janeiro in Brazil is known for tropical weather. But what Candido Mateus, a pensioner got one rainy day was too much for a tropical weather. Staying in his ground floor apartment of a multi-storeyed building, he heard a loud splash from his back yard. When he went out in the downpour to investigate, he found that an alligator had landed from the sky. After overcoming the shock, he raised a din. What had really happened was that the alligator was being secretly kept as a pet by the fourth floor resident and, in the rain, it escaped from his balcony. The alligator managed to remain alive and was sent to the zoo. Its former owner faces a legal charge.
